Adieu to the Soceity of Good Taste. I’m so sad to report that one of my favorite examples of Fierce Loyalty, Grey Poupon’s Society of Good Taste, is no longer on Facebook. Community and the Online Classroom This is one of the most exciting things I’ve seen this week: a course module for online faculty teaching them how to create community in the courses they teach. I often get asked if “this community thing” is just a fad. With this kind of training becoming commonplace in a wide variety of industries and settings, I think it’s safe to say that “this community thing” is here to stay.
