The Power of Fiercely Loyal Off-Line Communities. I get asked, at least once a day, are offline communities as important as online communities? The answer is YES! There are things that offline communities can do that online communities cannot. Plus, there’s something about meeting face-to-face that cannot be replaced or imitated by virtual means. This week I learned about a new service that rolls all of these up in one place – and leverages the power of instagram-like photo-sharing. Transforming a Loose Network into a Fiercely Loyal Community. I did this short (15 minutes) for The Chronicle of Philanthropy.
