Fierce Loyalty is Not Transactional

The best part of being in Dallas last week was getting to spend so much time in the same space with my dear friend Elizabeth Marshall. Elizabeth and I met at a conference in New York in 2006 and over time our relationship has grown – first professionally and now personally.

I’ve said many times that I’ve learned every single thing I know about building strong, powerful relationships from Elizabeth and I continue to learn from her every day. #luckyme

And lucky YOU because we actually got prettiefied an shot a quick video where Elizabeth talks about how building a rich relationship with a fiercely loyal community is a lot like building a rich relationship with an individual. No one wants to feel transactional, like they are a means to an end. The relationship is the end.

Check out this video and you’ll see what we mean. 🙂
